Second Investigation
Investigation 2
Your days in the Cirque de l'Ardeur are coming to an end. It will be less than 48 hours until you're allowed to leave if you choose so. With the finish line in sight, all one must do now is survive until then.
However...one or more people may not have gotten to.
When everyone wakes up, nothing seems off. There are no burning tents right now. Despite that, as soon as they get wandering around, they'll notice something awful happened last night.
It's time for the second performance of the Cirque de l'Ardeur to begin.

Maybe the hole was just for decoration? ]
no subject
... actually uh, can they tell what direction the hole was made from? someone busting in or bursting out? do the edges curl outward in or from the inside out ... what does the hole look like, in terms of how clean cut or not it is? ]
no subject
The hole was made from the outside, the edges curling inward (someone bursting in from the outside just in case this wasn't clear since this mod cries in directions). As for the hole itself, it's more of a rip than a cut. ]

looks down at the floor. looks up at the top of the tent. outside of the airtight box and the other mystery box, is everything else truly in order? is there a spot somewhere where everything's stored where it looks like the mystery box came from? ]
no subject
As for the mystery box, it's origins are not clear. ]
no subject
uh. are these weapons normally organized by type or what. is it possible to make out what might or might not be missing? ]
no subject
The actual metal swords are stored in a rack on a wall, and one of them racks is empty! ]

what about the glass magician's case? that's heavy, right? looking around or at it, is it immediately apparently how someone moved those couple hundred of pounds? drag marks? some rube goldberg pulley system not yet mentioned? or is the assumption to be made here that someone here is a lot stronger than expected and can really lift? ]
no subject
trying to write in joker's slang is the end of me.And correct in that there's nothing else disturbed and no struggle or mess. The glass magician's case is heavy, yes. There's no drag marks, no pulley system, or a sleigh of reindeer.
Someone can really lift. ]

And uh, how high up/wide does the rip go? This is probably not the most conclusive evidence for a possible suspect's build, but hey, might as well check. ]
no subject
The rip is pretty wide and high -- but given that it's fabric there's flexibility as to how wide it needs to be for an hypothetical person. From the looks of it, it does seem like the majority of the people in this circus could pass through it]
no subject
so to reiterate, while the floor isn't clean, it doesn't look like a struggle happened here, or that there's hasty footsteps with a long stride sprinting to get around or away, huh. ]

Feel free to take it with you, if you'd like]

[ it's fairly heavy, but she's not struggling all that much, just holding one end! and the training tent isn't especially far, either -- they should manage in no time! ]
no subject
[ it might be heavy, but like haru he's not particularly struggling either. let's carry this on over to the main tent in preparation for later! ]
I'd suggest for us to try with the other one as well ... But that might be a bit more difficult to accomplish.
no subject
The transparent magician box... probably isn't (or with a lot of effort) because it's several hundred pounds. Unless Robin and Haru are that swole. ]
