Your days in the Cirque de l'Ardeur are coming to an end. It will be less than 48 hours until you're allowed to leave if you choose so. With the finish line in sight, all one must do now is survive until then.

However...one or more people may not have gotten to.

When everyone wakes up, nothing seems off. There are no burning tents right now. Despite that, as soon as they get wandering around, they'll notice something awful happened last night.

It's time for the second performance of the Cirque de l'Ardeur to begin.

[ most of the commotion seems to be going on around the animals and acrobats area, but she hasn't forgotten just how much trouble this spot gave them last time. diluc's death is still a mystery; if they want to figure out this set, they'll need to stay on top of things twice as hard.

as far as she's concerned, this is one of the shadiest spots of the lot. so what's the story, here? ]

[ As noted on the investigation, the entrance of the training tent is blocked by the airtight box, and a miscellaneous wooden box. Weird.

It won't stop Haru from gaining access to the actual tent though, since there's just. a hole torn in the tent right beside the entrance. Who needs an actual entrance when you can just make one? ]

[mousquetaires]

[ while robin takes a look at the hole, haru seems pretty concerned with these strange boxes. are they heavy enough that she wouldn't be able to move them, if she tried? she'll check out the bigger one first... ]

[wringmaster]

[ The bigger one would be the glass box which can ostensibly hold a magician for all kinds of escape magic tricks! It's... pretty heavy just from the looks of it, and probably weighs a few hundred pounds. ]

[mousquetaires]

[ oh, plexiglass, right? she taps at it a few times with her knuckles, just to confirm...probably no way around that one without some really serious force, or some kind of weapon...

so what about the wooden box nearby? ]

[wringmaster]

[ Yup! Wouldn't want any magicians escaping by kicking their way out now, would we?

As for the other wooden box, it looks like one of the cargo boxes from the back area of the mess tent. Usually these hold produce or the other rare fresh goods that pop up every now and again in the circus. ]

[mousquetaires]

[ and now? is there anything left inside, or is it totally empty? ]

[wringmaster]

[ It is...empty! Someone spared the produce inside, how generous. ]

[mousquetaires]

[ well, that's...good? it doesn't quite answer the question of what it's doing here, but...

anything else suspicious outside, before we help robin poke about through the interior? what's catching our eye? ]

[wringmaster]

[ Nothing actually which is probably odd. ]

[mousquetaires]

[ nothing at all?

...you know, that is weird. what about inside? don't mind her, as she casually ducks in with a meek little excuse me-- ]

[wringmaster]

[ As noted to Robin, there's not much going on inside either besides the area that stores the weapons.

This Kool Aid Man was a ninja. The ground doesn't look pristine to be clear, but there's not any clear tracks, and this is all to say that while it's obvious someone came in here, it doesn't look like there was a scuffle or anything like that. ]

[mousquetaires]

[ couldn't get inside without forcing their way in, but once they actually got there...

hm. if she had akira-kun's perceptiveness, she'd probably be able to spot something amiss, even in a situation like this. there may not be signs of a scuffle, but is there anything around that would confirm that someone came back to clean up after themselves? anything that looks wiped down, or maybe a little Too tidy? ]

[ Haru is doing her best! But nope, there's nothing that looks off even in the overworked tidy way.

The kool-aid person mystery continues. ]
